Cub Scout Resident Camp Photos
From 26-30 July 2005 members of Pack 295 participated in the Cub Scout Resident Camp at Camp Freedom, Germany with other Cub Scouts from across Europe. Celbrating the 200th anniversary of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, the camp's motto was "Scouting the Trail of Tradition...Blazing the Trail of Character." Scout's were organized as Tribes for all activities from campsite location to activities.
On Wednesday and Thursday the Cub Scouts explored the “Core of Discovery” program areas and participated in a variety of activities. Friday was a special day as the Tribes participated in “The Great Character Expedition” in the morning and the “Corps of Discovery Olympics” in the afternoon. The Great Character Expedition was a competition of physical and mental skill.
