Pack 404 Color Guard Welcomes WWII Veterans
Cub Scouts and Webelos from Pack 404 participated in the welcome home reception for 32 World War II veterans returning from Washington DC. They had went to Washington to visit the WWII memorial as part of the Honor Flight program.
The boys handed a US flag to each veteran as they exited the plane. You could tell that it really meant a lot to these men who have served our country to see these young boys waiting for them as they exited the plane. The boys realized that this was a special event and gained an appreciation for the men who fought to defend our freedom.
