Please bring plenty of water, the hike is about 3.5 miles, from the Presidio Museum to Battery Chamberlain. When we meet at the museum, we will see how many we have, and decide wether or not to have pickup at the Battery, or to double back to the museum.
A special patch will be awarded to all who complete the hike.
Directions to the Presidio Museum, Lincoln Blvd. at Funston Ave. (from yahoo maps)
Take the I-80 WEST Left exit toward SAN FRANCISCO - go 6.9 mi
Take the HARRISON ST Left exit toward EMBARCADERO - go 0.3 mi
Turn Right on HARRISON ST - go 0.3 mi
Turn Left on THE EMBARCADERO - go 0.9 mi
Turn Left on BROADWAY ST - go 0.7 mi
Continue on BROADWAY TUNL - go 0.5 mi
BROADWAY TUNL becomes BROADWAY ST - go 0.8 mi
Turn Right on FILLMORE ST - go 0.4 mi
Turn Left on LOMBARD ST(US-101) - go 0.8 mi
Bear Right on PRESIDIO BLVD - go 0.2 mi
Continue on LINCOLN BLVD - go 0.2 mi
Arrive at LINCOLN BLVD AT FUNSTON AVE, SAN FRANCISCO
Please be on time, and give yourself plenty of time to get there, as traffic on the Bay Bridge may be bad.
