Annual Popcorn Fundraiser

Date: 9/26/09 - 11/7/09
Location: Fundraiser

Cub Scouts, get your Class A’s on, your pens ready and your best selling voice – it’s time for popcorn!

Pack 274’s primary fund raising activity is held in the fall. If we make enough money it will be the only thing we’ll sell this year.

Key Dates:
- Popcorn sales start Sept. 26
- Completed order forms and money are due to your den’s fund raising volunteer not later than ???????, October ???
- Popcorn will be available for pickup from Nov. ?? to Nov ??

Prizes:
- There are lots of cool new prizes this year. This year our pack has set a sales goal of $??? per scout, on average. Many scouts in past years have sold $500 or more. Prizes are shown on the order form.

Ways to Sell:
1) Go door-to-door and take orders to be delivered in. Scouts should wear their Class A shirt and go with an adult.
2) Have Mom and/or Dad take the order form to work.
3) Order online – notify friends and family to go to www.orderpopcorn.com to place their orders (Note: The scout needs to have a key ID to give to friends and family. If you would like a key ID, email your Den’s fundraising committee member and they can get your scout a custom ID for this feature. Include your scout’s name and den number in the email). The online order products shown at orderpopcorn.com are somewhat different from those on the order form. More information on selling online is available the link below

Other Important Points:
- You should collect from your customers when you take orders. Checks should be made out to Pack 274.
- Your den leader should give each scout an order form. If you need more, ask your den’s fundraising committee member. (You can determine who is your den's fundraising committee member by checking the den roster on our website.)
- Just in case, a link to a website that shows all our product offerings is below, so you can reference it if you don’t have the paper forms handy.
