PACK 332 PINEWOOD DERBY
Date: 1/30/10
Time: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
Location: 1st LUTHERAN CHURCH - 600 WEST SUMNER, LAKE ELSINORE
Cub Scouts . . . are you ready for some racing?
Join us at the 1st Lutheran Church at 600 West Sumner in Lake Elsinore on Saturday January 30th for the 2010 Pack 332 Pinewood Derby.
Race times are as follows:
Tigers: 9:00 - 9:50
Wolves: 10:00-10:50
Bears: 11:00-11:50
Webelos I: 12:00-12:50
Webelos II: 1:00-1:50
Championship:2:00
Parents and all others: 2:30-
Plan to arrive at least 1/2 hour early to have your car checked in and tuned up by our official Pack 332 pit crew.
There will be donuts, juice, and coffee during the day as well as hotdogs, chili dogs, chips and drinks for sale. Dens will help out at the snack bar as scheduled:
9:30-10:00 Wolves
10:30-11:00 Bears
11:30-12:00 Webelos I
12:30-1:00 Webelos II
There will be a gathering activities for the Scouts and siblings.
The top 3 racers from each division/rank will be awarded with a certificate. The top racer from each Rank/Division earns the right to race in the Championship at 2:00
The top 5 cars from the Championship earn 1st - 2nd - 3rd - 4th -5th place trophies.
Certificates will also be presented to each Rank for the following categories:
* Best Cub Scout/ Cenntenial theme
* Most Patriotic
* Best Paint Job
* Most Original Design
The Pinewood Derby rules are provided in your Scouts' Pinewood Derby Kit.
Contact your Den Leader about any questions you may have in regards to Pinewood Derby rules.
MOST IMPORTANT . . . Parents, while we all want our Scout to win, please remember that the Pinewood Derby is meant to be fun for the kids. All Pinewood Derby personel will DO THEIR VERY BEST to be fair when judging the race.
ANOTHER MOST IMPORTANT . . . Our computer judge will be roped off in his own area. NO SCOUTS, PARENTS OR LEADERS ARE PERMITTED INTO THE COMPUTER AREA WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM Mike, or Harold.
