The second link provides a look into what it is Cub Scouts (2nd & 3rd Grades) and Webelos (4th and 5th Grades) do.
Regardless of what age you are, all boys work on earning badges and other forms of recognition. The programs are designed to teach boys how to be a good citizen, how to enjoy themselves in the outdoors, how to be strong in their faith, how to be creative and not be afraid to try new things, and how to be prepared for emergencies and the unexpected.
The Cub Scout program is intended to develop young men of sound character who are physically fit and able, and mentally awake and ready for a challenge.
