Criteria For Earning Cub Bucks

Parents:
Here's the final list of criteria for earning cub bucks. As most of you know, the boys have opportunities to earn cub bucks throughout the year. At the end of the year, each cub brings a toy ($10 max) and it is auctioned off to the highest bidder. Please encourage your scouts to participate. The end-of-year auction with all the great stuff is loads of fun!
Cub Bucks are red this year and expire in June 2006. I will pass them out to each of the den leaders at every Pack meeting for distribution within their den.
Parents, in addition, please let your den leader know if your cub has done something good for the community or an individual in need that is not part of a scout event. We will recognize these scouts at the Pack Meeting and he will earn 2 cub bucks! Activities through church and around Thanksgiving would probably provide good opportunities.
How to Earn Cub Bucks
- Attend the Pack Meeting
- Attend the Pack Meeting in full Uniform
- Arrive at or before 6:30 pm
- Present the Colors (Lead Flag Salute)
- First Den Sitting Quietly
- Correctly answer questions asked by the Scout Master
- Help with clean up after the Pack Meeting
- Den(s) with the best skits
- Any other incentive/reward the Scout Master thinks of at the Pack Meeting
- Something good done for the community or an individual in need that is not part of a scouting event (2 cub bucks!)

Addendum:
If your cub scout has done extra community service work on his own or if you all have done it as a den, then please get that info to
Traci Kawaguchi at Traci.Minamide@lacity.org.
For the service work that the scout did on his own, he can earn two cub bucks. For the den's work as a whole, each den member can earn one cub buck.
