SPRING CAMP-OUT

Location: PEACE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION CAMPGROUNDS
Last call for campers for the weekend of May 2nd!
Spring camp-out registrations will be closing on Sunday March 15th.
Here is a review of the details.
When: Saturday May 2nd to Sunday May 3rd.
Time: 12:00 or whenever you arrive on Saturday, to 12ish on Sunday
Where: The Peace Officers Association Campgrounds (directions will be on the pack website)
Why: Because cub scouts LOVE camping!
Cost: $30.00 per person (children 3 and under are free)
Cost includes: camping, snacks, Saturday dinner, S' mores around the campfire, and Sunday breakfast.
All scouts will have the opportunity to earn their Compass belt loop. Older scouts may learn to"whittle," to earn their whittling chip........Webelos will learn fire building and a few additional outdoor skills.
There are places to climb, hike and just play!
There will also be an awesome game of "Capture the Flag."
Evening is always a fun-filled time with S' mores, singing and stories!
This is a family activity, so everyone is welcome!
All campers will receive a "Spring Camp-out Patch."
So, if you haven't already signed up, you had better do it before March 15th. No late sign-ups. Payment is due no later than April 1st.

NEWS FLASH! For one night, and one night only! (May 2nd; imagine that!) Just returning from a sold out, sleepless night on the USS Hornet, the Pack 556 men's snoring choir will perform a rousing rendition of Beethoven's 5th, in B flat. Yes, believe it or not, there are even solos!
