Pack 824 returns to Forest Lawn Scout Reservation
Scouts from 824 enjoyed 4 days at 6000 feet during our annual trip to Forest Lawn Scout Reservation near Lake Arrowhead. Our "Pack Pal" Deuce immediately bonded with the boys while showing the adults how scouting can make a teenager into a fine young man. Equally inspiring were the FLSR staff, most of whom were Eagle Scouts. Hiking, archery, stargazing, horseriding, swimming, biking and sports filled these four memorable, if dust-filled, days. Webelos II's slept overnight under the stars. By the end, Pack 824 campers earned the John Muir Award and the Menehune Patrol Patch.
