Message From Your Den Leader

Welcome to Pack 148 WEBELOS 1 Den 4 for Calendar Year 2006/2007. My name is Scott Parry. I will be your scout's Den Leader for this year. I am very excited to start this new year off and excited about our new Pack 148 web site. Information is very important and I believe that this is the best way for our leadership to communicate with our parents.
This will be my 4th year as a cub scout leader and believe that this year will be my most challenging. There is alot planned for this year's WEBELOS 1. Many badges are in store for the first year WEBELOS.
To keep my scout's parents informed, I have added several websites that should help the parents along for this year. I am planning on posting our weekly events on this site, so please return as much as possible.
I really want my scout's parents to stay as involved as possible with their son's activities. I am also looking for volunteers to help assist as much as possible. I am always looking for options outside of our Sand Pine den meetings. If you have any interesting or exciting options that you would like to share, please let me know.
Reminder, as a WEBELO, the scouts have the option of one of two uniforms. As we are preparing our cub scouts to be boy scouts, they have the option of continuing to wear their blue uniform or a boy scout khaki uniform.
