Jamboree of the Trail

The Gulf Ridge Council International Committee would like to remind you that we are holding a Jamboree of the Trail (JOTT) this coming MAY 9th, 10.00AM to 3.00PM.
JOTT is an international event approved by the World Organization of Scout Movements (WOSM). It is held every year with the aim of every scout in the world going on a hike on the same day.
This activity is open to cub scouts also.
This year's GRC event will be at the Upper Tampa Bay Park, 8001 Double Branch Road. 33635-9657.
Directions:-
Go WEST on West Hillsborough Ave. until you come to Double Branch Road (approx 9 miles past Dale Mabry). Turn South into the park.
Games and prizes will be provided, advancement activities and opportunities to visit the Nature Center are planned.
We may have some boating activity also.
Price will be $3.00 which will include a patch.
Adult or Venture volunteers would be appreciated.
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AROUND. Due to the problems with the council website we have not been able to publicize this enough. We are relying ON YOU to spread the word and make this a success.
