Halloween Camp Out

Date: 10/23/09 - 10/25/09
Time: 4:00PM
Location: Camp La-No-Che

Parents! We are approaching the camp out this month at Camp La-No-Che very fast. This is the one of our pack traditions that we encourage all to participate in. It’s something all the boys are very excited about, so don’t miss out.

For those that are new, here are few tips for you.

· The pack is taking care of Saturday Dinner and Sunday breakfast. Cost is $3 per person or $8 per family. Please help us plan effectively and let us know as soon as possible so that we ensure we have enough food. It’s is payable at the Pack meeting in cash or check to Pack 630.

· In addition to the great camping check list Mr. Strileckis provided us (THANK YOU Tony) please bring one bag of candy per DEN, lots of Halloween décor for the camp contest, and your best Halloween costumes..Watch the weather and plan appropriately. Be prepared. Have some good walking shoes!

· Reservations are still open but hurry, space is limited and time is running out: http://secure.cfcbsa.org/Registration/CalendarDetail.asp?ActivityKey=644626&OrgKey=901 Once they are full that’s it. They will not accept any walk-in registrations or transfers for the weekend if they reach the Scout Reservation capacity! Everyone must have already pre-registered. Your receipt provided for print out when you online registered will help for admittance if you have any issues during the check in, but is not required because we have the data from registration showing who paid and who did not. Wristbands will be provided for the amount of participants pre-paid and everyone must be wearing the wristband for camp security and it also shows that you are properly checked in. Only properly paid participants wearing the wristband will be allowed in campsites; using programs and on the Scout Reservation. Anyone not properly wearing the wristband will be asked to leave. They will be checking for proper wristbands throughout the weekend.

· Camp La-No-Che Campsite Info: We will be assigned a campsite and may camp anywhere in or around the assigned campsite with Pack 630. Attached are directions from the church to the camp ground and back again, and a PDF with info about the activities as well as an additional map.

· The Check In Process will start Friday on Boy Scout Road next to Camp Rybolt at 4pm. They will have camp masters and camp staff to direct you through the check in process.

· Parking info will be provided prior to setting up your camp and is important to use the proper parking area for Emergency vehicle access during this event.

Should you want to learn more about O La-No-Che Go to www.camplanoche.com

Finally warm up those voices because will be singing and O’La-No-Che O’La-No-Che O’La-No-Che

Scouting regards,
