LEADER MTG RECAP
Items discussed:
1. camping trip- should not arrive before 4:30 pm tomorrow. dick cline will arrive first and must present medical forms for all attendees. at this point, dick must have your medical forms if you want to participate. we will not find out our campsite locations until dick cline checks in with the park ranger. once he has this information, there will be signs pointing everyone to our location, he will try to group us by rank. the schedule was sent out to den leaders via e-mail today. bring fishing poles.
2. rocket launch- november 12th- everything is set, info on website, remind scouts to get rockets
3. popcorn- keep selling that popcorn, leaders keep the kids motivated to sell, we only have until Nov. 1st before orders and money is due.
4. Gladiators game- 12/8- start getting headcount and money. Tickets are $14 each add $1 for patch. Money & headcount due to dick cline by 11/16 leader mtg. May have Maximus and a player at Nov. pack mtg.
5. Pinewood derby cars will be distributed to den leaders at 11/16 meeting. one car per scout at no charge as long as scout is current with pack dues. extra cars can be purchased for siblings/parents- Note: mel will check with melissa about table cloths. Debbie Smith to get back with us about custodians.
6. Medieval Times; we have 31 people going on 11/5. I can add on others but must have payment and ticket request by 4:30pm Nov. 2nd. Tickets are non-refundable and must arrive by 12:45pm, show ends at 4:30pm.
7. B & G- entertainment is booked, still working on food and decorations- Feb. 11th
8. Awards to Amy Weiler by tuesday, Oct. 24th. Tiger dens should be ready to earn bobcat badge by Dec. pack mtg.
9. Arrive by 6:40 on 11/2 if your den is on the duty list. Hospitality table in charge of names for raffle and handing out newsletters.
10. At 11/2 pack meeting each den will decorate a Coat of Arms, bring markers, crayons, stickers etc to the pack meeting for your den to use. Theme is Scouts in Shining Armour.
11. We will be looking at the dens during the camping trip to see who might earn the Spirit Stick, looking for dens that are working together, cheering, participating in campfire skits/songs, following leave no trace guidelines....etc
