Cubs in Space Day Camp part 1 of 3
Date: 6/22/09 - 6/26/09
Location: Frankfort Square
Rainbow Council CUBS IN SPACE DAYCAMP in Frankfort Square, June 22nd-June 26th Early registration will be a $15 deposit due today, March 2nd to Susan Lynch with a $60 balance due by April 8th. If the final $60 is not submitted by the deadline then the discounted price will not be available and the remaining fee will be $75 thereby making the full price of $90. Summer day camp forms are on pack 270’s website. Scouts have always had lots of fun at this camp. Sign your scout up today!
Cub Scout Summer Camp Update !!
Dates for camp:
Monday, June 22nd à Kick off day / Open house (replaces last year’s Friday event)
Tuesday, June 23rd to Friday, June 26th à Scouts attend camp (notice FRIDAY)
Volunteer Day – for each scout you are sending to camp a parent / adult volunteer is to “work” one day. If you offered Monday, please contact me to reschedule. If you selected any day and would prefer Friday, please contact me – thanks.
Camp Staff - Also, for every eight scouts we send, we have to have a full time volunteer. These are the people who run the stations, trading post, tot lot, etc. We are in DIRE need for more help here. If you are able to volunteer two days – we could find another two day person and that would equal ONE. Please think about the boys and all the fun they will have this summer at camp. We don’t want them to miss out. Please consider volunteering to help as a staff member – and you’ll receive a spiffy t-shirt!
Family Day - June 22nd 10:00am to 3:00pm
Scouts will pick up their camp supplies (shirts, neckerchiefs, wristbands, badges) and decorate their den wagons for the week!!

Station hunt – search for your planet stations and get your out to space passport stamped!
Face painting – fun for all!
Meteor toss – tournaments (bean bags)
Space station – Moon shot arcade! Try to knock the planets out of orbit
Alien maze – find your way around this space craze!
Trading Post – lots of neat and useful items to choose from
