Hidden Lakes Trout Farm Fishing on July 22nd! RSVP Deadline: July 8th

The July event for Pack 91 is an educational fishing excursion to Hidden Lakes Trout Farm in Bolingbrook.
Scouts will be divided by rank and a trained park district educator will teach the scouts how to set up a fishing pole (line and hook), how to bait a hook, the basics of fishing, and how to get a fish off the hook once caught! Then the boys will be allowed to fish and put their skills into practice.
Cost for the event is $10 per scout which includes the paid educator, use of fishing pole, bait from the Tackle Box Bait Shop on site, and a brag vest patch. Scouts will earn a fishing belt loop (if they have not previously earned it). Older scouts may complete the requirements for the fishing pin. Siblings and adults may fish after purchasing a 1-day permit for $5 and must supply their own fishing equipment (poles provided for the scouts). Siblings will not be allowed to attend the small group educational piece of the event.
There are picnic tables on the property available on a first come, first use basis. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the park before our event starts.
