SPEND THE NIGHT ON A WWII SUBMARINE USS COBIA WITH PACK 84 OCTOBER 17, 2009
The USS Cobia is a restored working WWII submarine moored along the Manitowoc River, adjacent to the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. The COBIA was declared a National Historic Landmark and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The Wisconsin Maritime Museum’s USS COBIA Overnight Program offers Scouts a once in a lifetime chance to experience first hand a taste of the submarine lifestyle. This is a hands-on educational program. Scouts will receive a guided tour and sleep on board the World War II submarine. Additionally, Scouts will participate in various educational activities, receive special access to non-public areas and admission to the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.

The cost of this program is $43.00 (non-refundable), per person. Limited to Scout, Parent and Registered Leaders only! Check payable to Pack 84. This must be on a first paid, first come basis as space is limited to a maximum of 65 recruits. The program is open for recruits until May 25, 2008 only. Avoid disappointment—enlist early! This does not include transportation, meals or other personal expenses. Manitowoc is approximately 3-4 hours from here.
