All,

Below is the info. we sent out 7/25. Please read for details.

We will meet in the Northeast side of the Target parking lot in Olathe (119th and I-35) at 8:00 AM on 8/25. When we arrive in Hutchinson we will stop to eat lunch before heading to check in at 12:30 PM. You and/or your son will need a sack lunch or money for lunch on Saturday. He will also need money for lunch on Sunday as they will probably need to eat before arriving home Sunday afternoon. If your son is riding down with someone please make your own pick-up arrangements. Webelos 1 and 2 are both attending this event!

Boys should wear Class A uniforms and should bring class B for Sunday. Sending a complete change of clothes is recommended. You never know!!

Please reply to this e-mail to let us know that you will be carpooling with us or if you need a ride so we can figure out who is driving.

Mike's cell phone is 913-484-6290 if you are running late.

Mike and Janet will both be out of town this week. You may not hear from us until Friday with complete plans. Call our cells if you have questions that need to be answered right away.

We're looking forward to a great time together!

Have a great week!

Mike
----------------------------------------------------------
All,

I am writing to remind you of our upcoming trip to the Cosmosphere in Hutchison, KS on Saturday August 25th.

2. What time do we arrive/depart? The program will begin at 1 p.m. and conclude by 11:00 a.m. the next day. We can carpool down there that morning or you can meet us there. We'll aim to leave around 8 and have time to eat lunch once we get there.

3. What are accommodations...what do we bring? Scouts and adults will sleep on the floor in one of our classrooms. We ask that you bring sleeping bags (air mattresses or cots may also be brought) and personal hygiene items. We do not have shower facilities.

4. What are the number requirements (minimum and maximum)? We have 15 boys in our den. They will be turning 11 years old at that time. If you meet the minimum number of 20 scouts, the cost per boy would be $50 and $20 per adult. If you are unable to meet the minimum requirement, the cost is $65 per boy and $25 per adult. Maximum number of scouts would be 40. You pay the day you arrive.

5. How many parents are allowed? I have a feeling most of our dads will want to come too! We do not have a limit on the number of adults that may come.

.

Please let me know if you and/or your son are planning to attend. I am hoping we will meet the minimum numbers for the $50/scout and $20/parent fees. Remember that older Boy Scout siblings are welcome.

Since our den money has dwindled and have not received our installment for next year yet, we are going to have to ask you to pay for this event. Our 2007- 08 den money is most all accounted for in our upcoming program as we prepare for Boy Scouts. Please let us know if this is a financial hardship for you. We don't want anyone to not go because they cannot pay. Please talk to us! At the same time, we feel we will get our money's worth from this event.

Hope you will join the adventure!

Thanks for getting back to us soon!

Blessings,

McMullens
