Fishing Derby June 30

The Pack will be up to something fishy this month!
We're holding a Fishing Derby at South Lake Park. Join us as we try and reel in some blue gill or channel catfish. Families are welcome. Kids under age 15 don't need a license. Anyone 15 or over can bait the hook and take the fish off to help the kids, but cannot cast or hold the rod while the line is in the water. Adults with licenses are welcome to participate.
Everyone who will be fishing/helping should wear grubby clothes. Class B uniforms are optional, as some boys will just be returning from camp.
There will be a sign-in sheet for the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, as they're hosting the Fishing Derby for us. They're providing the fishing gear, instructions, etc.
Directions: South Lake Park is on the North side of 87th St., between Antioch and Metcalf. The parking lot is on the North side of the park, which you can get to from 87th St. by turning North on Robinson St. and East (right) on 86th St.
