Location: Mid-America All Indian Center
We'll be taking a field trip to the Mid-America All Indian Center at 650 N. Seneca, just north of downtown Wichita, where the Big and Little Arkansas Rivers meet. We'll be attending a Pow-wow, which the Indian Center does several a year. This peticular Pow-Wow will feature the Mountain Man Rendezvous & Plains Indians Dance Exhibition. As this will be an event with the Wichita River Festival, everyone will need a Riverfest Button for entrance. We'll watch the dancing, visit the small art museum, and walk down to the river to see the Keeper of the Plains.
