Everyone, it's that time of year again! Time for the Elkhorn District Fall Family Campout! Fishing! Raingutter Regatta! BB Guns! Archery! Cave Simulator and more! Join us this September 18th and 19th at the Scott County Scroggins Park (Barn Side) for fun for the whole family. Fees are $15 per scout and $10 for Adults and Siblings. Register at the scout store in Lexington and let your den leader know that you are going so that we can include you in the food planning. Registrations for scouts received by September 9th (that's this Wednesday) will get a T-Shirt for the scout! Pre-registration ASAP is highly suggested in order that your family will be included in our roster and planning. The scout store is open from 9AM to 6PM Tuesday & Wednesday. They are closed for all federal holidays (including Labor Day and this Saturday). There are 2 check-in times at the campout; one on Friday night, and one on Saturday morning. Please see the flyer for more details. If you are new to the pack you should have gotten a registration form at school night. If you are a returning scout, or you have lost the form, it can be printed from http://www.bgbsa.org . Once at the site, go to "Calendar" then select Elkhorn District. Then click on the date that of the campout (9/18/09) and it will pull up the info page. From there you can click on and download the registration form. The scout store may have copies as well, but it would be best to print your own since they may run out.
And remember, if your scout will be participating in the Raingutter Regatta please purchase a boat kit ahead of time from the scout store so that he has time to decorate it. Hope to see you there!
