Webelos Program

Webelos is a program for 4th and 5th grade boys to prepare to join a Boy Scout troop while learning outdoors skills and participating in 20 different activity badges. The Webelos program has two major milestones - the Webelos rank badge to be earned in 4th grade and the Arrow of Light to be earned in 5th grade. The final part of Webelos is bridging over into a Boy Scout troop selected individually by the scout.
Webelos Scouts have the opportunity to earn up to 20 activity badges for the various accomplishments and skills they demonstrate. Activity Badges are grouped into 5 skill areas-physical skills, mental skills, community, technology and outdoors, with 4 specific badges within each skill area. Some of the badges are required for the Webelos Badge and the Arrow of Light Award, others are optional.
