Submitting Pictures for the Pack Web Site

Lot's of parents bring digital cameras to our events, so you probably have pictures of your Cub Scout and others. Share your pictures with the pack!
Share Them - It's Easy
Your digital camera came with software and so did your computer. You can use either - no need to get fancy.
The basic steps for sending pictures by e-mail:
1. Connect your camera to your computer. This usually requires a cable that came with your camera and that plugs into any USB port on the main box of your computer.
2. Download the pictures from the camera to your computer.
3. E-mail the pictures to the webmaster at webmasterpack107@gmail.com (10 MByte max per e-mail).
The basic steps for sending pictures by CD:
1. Connect your camera to your computer. This usually requires a cable that came with your camera and that plugs into any USB port on the main box of your computer.
2. Download the pictures from the camera to your computer.
3. Copy all of the images you want to submit onto a CD using your "CD burner", usually a CD-R or CD-RW drive on your computer.
4. Bring the CD to any pack event and have your den leader give it to the webmaster.
As time allows, we will crop, cut, and post the pictures on the page in a scrapbook for the event. Some of the Den Leaders are starting to add photos themselves, as well.
Remember: Use first names only in photo captions.
Never divulge personal information about Scouts on the Web site. The key is use good common sense.
