Regional Pinewood Derby Race Results

Location: Cardinal Spellman Center, 49 School Street Whitman, MA
Registration begins at 11:30AM
Racing begins at 12:00PM
Cardinal Spellman Center is Next to Holy Ghost Church across from Whitman Public Library
RULES
1. All Scouts will wear their Class A Uniform, no exceptions.
2. Rules for the cars are the official Pinewood Derby Rules(Attached)
3. Each Pack will hold their Pinewood Derby and the winners' cars will be impounded at the conclusion.
No Scout will have access to their car until they are redistributed by their Cubmaster/representative prior to registration on March 21st. Scouts will be allowed to add additional graphite and adjust wheels etc, prior to registration. Once a car is registered, it will again be impounded and no further adjustments can be made prior to the race.
4. If during the race a car is damaged, the Scout will be allowed 5 minutes to make repairs on Pit Road. All racing will be suspended so that the repairs can be made.
5. The Registration table will be manned by Mark Connell (Asst.
Cubmaster Pack 22) and a representative from another of the
participating Packs to ensure that fairness is maintained.
6. Each participating Scout in the Derby will pay a $5.00 registration fee to race and will upon registration, receive a commerative Drivers License.
7. Twelve (12) winning Scouts from each Pack will compete.
