Pack 209 Fishing Derby

Pack 209 will be holding our first Fishing Derby at Lake Waterford in Pasadena on Sunday, July 13th. We have a large pavilion reserved for the entire day.
Registration for the derby will be held between noon and 1pm.
The Derby will be held between 1 and 4 pm. This is not a catch and return area, so be prepared to take your trout home with you that day.
We will hold a BBQ after the fishing derby. We will be asking each family to bring a side dish. This will be coordinated through the den leaders so we don't end up with 30 dishes of potato salad. The Pack will provide the meat for the meals.
We will be borrowing up to 25 set of fishing gear, along with a casting practice set. But if you have your own fishing gear, please bring it so those that don't have equipment to use.
We will have prizes for the derby.
Parents fishing, or helping their son fish, will need to get a fishing license, along with a trout stamp for their license. These can be purchased at Walmart and Bass Pro Shops.
