Arlington National Cemetery Tour
Step into our nation’s history and remember the American patriots, both humble and well-known, whose final resting place is in the wooded hills of Arlington. TourmobileSM provides the only authorized riding tour through Arlington National Cemetery. Narrators will relate accounts of heroism and personal sacrifice as you ride to Important sites:
* Arlington Cemetery Visitors Center/Women in Military Service for America Memorial * Kennedy Gravesites * Tomb of the Unknowns (Changing of the Guard) * Arlington House, the Robert E. Lee Memorial
We can get out at the various stops and then reboard the bus.
The cost if we have 20 or more is: $7 per adult and $3.50 per child 3-11. We can then also do part of the walking tour to see specific graves: Medgar Evers - one of the leaders of the Civil Rights movement, General Omar Bradley - the soldier's general, President and Chief Justice William Howard Taft, and others that we pick from the tour map I have.
Since popcorn sales should be over by this time, the pack should be able to pay the fee for any boy that sold popcorn for the tourmobile.
In case the weather is cold, the Tourmobile is heated.
