Committee Meeting

First, parents are always welcome to attend our Committee Meetings. Remember, we are planning the activities for you and your family.
Please try to attend this meeting. We will be discussing several fundraisers we are contemplating. We will also begin our planning for our Whitewater rafting trip in August, as well as talking about our camping trip in May at the Antietam Battlefield in western Maryland.
Two of the fundraisers are a family night at McDonald's in Odenton. We invite family and friends to the restaurant by giving them a flier. We then receive 20% of the sales. This is a quick and easy fundraiser for us.
The second fundraiser is at Outback Steakhouse. We sell tickets for $15-$20 for adults, $10 for kids for an all-you-can eat buffet at lunchtime. We sell the tickets, Outback provides all the food for free, and we walk away with a nice profit. If we get just the families in the pack to participate, we would earn about $2000 (which is what the B&G cost us for the meal). If we invite friends and neighbors, that figure could climb drastically. All we have to do sell tickets. I am still trying to get ahold of the manager at the Outback to get this set up. This one may not occur for several months.
