Webelos I Den 2 – Scorpion Patrol

Location: Fire Training Center in Millersville
The AA County Fire Dept is offering the Readyman first aid skills again at the Expo this year. Any Cubs are welcome. We have even trained Girl Scouts in the past. It takes about one hour for Webelos to cycle through all of the stations. We provide a list of the skills and a place for the Scouts name and Pack. They take this back to their Webelos leaders for verification of the training. The stations include: Heart Attack, Rescue breathing, severe bleeding, shock treatment, poisioning, and splinting.
They can also visit all of the fire department displays and demos while they are there. It is a great outing and leaders can get the Readyman skills completed. The raindate is Sunday the 24th. Kids can see everthing from Fire investigation dog Iris, fire engine rides, rapelling, going through the maze with a makeup air pak, using fire extinguishers, medical drills, 911 center demo, fire prevention child trailer, and much more. Food is available at a low price from the AA County Alarmers and free balloons and cotton candy
