2009 Popcorn Sales

Our pack will begin selling popcorn in July.
The first popcorn order will be due to Miss Debbie no later than Friday, September 4th.
Popcorn will be delivered to our Pack on 25 September.
Our Mega sales program will be 26 and 27 September and 2, 3, and 4 October.
Unsold popcorn MUST be returned to Miss Debbie by 22 October.
All money must be turned in by 12 November.
Final popcorn delivery will be 14 November.
The commission we can earn has changed slightly this year.
We earn 25% just for participating.
3% for attending the training seminare (which I do)
2% for registering by June 1st (which we have)
5% for 100% participation by the pack (all boys must sell)
5% for increasing our sales by 25% (we need to sell at least $8000 worth of popcorn this year).
We will have about 13 weeks to sell popcorn. Each boy should try to set a goal of at least $100 worth of popcorn each week to sell. We currently have 20 boys in the pack and hopefully more joining in the fall. This year the popcorn manufacturer is making it easier for us to sell to family and friends who don't live nearby. They can go onto the company's website and order the popcorn from there and the scout gets the credit for the sales. That means we don't have to ship it to out-of-state buyers. The company will. This will also hopefully increase our sales.
