Calvert Cliffs

Location: Calvert Cliffs
We will be visiting the Calvert Maritime Museum, as well as walking along the beach at Calvert Cliffs State Park.
While at the Museum we will check out the Paleontology section to look at fossils found in the Chesapeake Bay area. The boys can also do a hands-on experiment area.
Cost for the Museum is:
Adults: $7.00
Senior Citizens (55 and older): $6.00
Children ages 5 to 12: $2.00
Military: $6.00
Children under 5: Free
We will also visit Calvert Cliffs State Park, which is located five miles north of Solomons on MD Rt. 4. It has nature trails through a wooded park leading to the beach. The beach is a two mile hike from where you park your vehicle. On the beach the boys can look for sharks teeth.
