Flag Placement at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery
Members of Pack 209 assisted in the placement of almost 20,000 flags on the graves of our military at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
Prior to the placement of the flags, members of a Boy Scout troop from The Capital District presented the colors, then lead the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. After that, Reverend Phillip Tocknell of Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church read a prayer. Chuck Roydhouse then thanked the groups assembled for coming. A Scout then played Taps and we were released to place the flags.
