2008 Annual Blue and Gold Banquet

Hello Pack 723.
We are very excited about the upcoming Blue and Gold Banquet. We have an exciting evening of fun, advancements and entertainment planned for the Cub Scouts. Den Leaders and Assistant Den Leaders please pass the word to your dens and explain to them what a B&G banquet is, and why we need to be there to support our Cubs.
Our theme this year is "Pirates of the Severn." Please feel free to have your Cub wear a pirate hat or pirate bandanna, but we do want the Cubs to be able to convert back to their complete scout uniforms for the official parts of the evening.
There will be a table centerpiece judging contest, so each Den should be working on their centerpieces now!
Our special entertainment is a professional magician who will mystify you and make you laugh at the same time.
We will also be bridging our Web IIs to Boy Scouts. A very exciting and important achievement in their scouting adventure.
We'll also have a exciting story or two as well from the CubMaster. :)
Here's what we need from everyone to make this event a success:
Tigers: Bring a dessert dish
Wolves: Bring a side dish
Bears: Bring an entree
Web Is: Bring a side dish
Web IIs: bring an entree
We (the pack) will be providing juice, drinks, plates and flatware for the pack.
We'd like to try to have everyone at the school and setting up at 6 pm. We will be eating right away on the front end of the event. I expect the evening to conclude by 8 pm.
