Summertime Pack Activities

Below is a list of Summertime activities we have planned to keep us active during the downtime we get from school. I will also have a booklet at the next Pack meeting for the boys to work on this summer, any 12 items completed gets a patch. Lots of good rainy day stuff like visit museums, aquariums.
FRIDAY NIGHTS 5 AFTER 5 – National Aquarium and Maryland Science Center, have scouting programs all summer for $5 admission after 5PM on Fridays. Please check with these organizations before you go up, to make sure there’s no special event and that the promotion is running. We’ve done both over the winter and the kids love ‘em.

CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP- June 22 – 26 http://www.fourriversdaycamp.org/ (There is also an August session, see the website for details.)
This is a great way to start your summer and earn a bunch of belt loops! There’s still time to register (until end of May) contact Brooks Tucker with any questions. (brooksandanita@verizon.net)

We will attend as a Pack July 18 – 20. You can register on an individual basis for any of the other sessions June through August.
SUMMERTIME SWIM EVENT – Big Vanilla pool Friday night in August (date TBD)
Work on/earn Swimming belt loop, pin, badge requirement and/or activity pin. Stay afterwards for the Big “V” party 30’ slide into the pool, order pizza poolside.
