BLUE & GOLD PICTURES!
Nearly 170 Pack 389 family members attended the 2006 Blue & Gold Banquet on March 4th. Twenty-one of our Webelos crossed over to four seperate Boy Scout Troops and all of our Cubs, volunteers and leaders were recognized for their efforts. We also bid a sad farewell to our outgoing Cubmaster Mr. Devine and welcomed our incoming Cubmaster Mr. Benoit.
Congratulations to Bear Den 1 for winning the inaugural 2006 Akela's Cup. The Akela's Cup is awarded to the Den that accumulates the most points during the year. Points are awarded based on attendance, various Den competitions, enthusiasm, Scoutlike behavior and other factors determined by the Cubmaster. Point accumulation for the 2007 Akela's Cup begins immediately and the Cup will be awarded at the next Blue & Gold Banquet in 2007.
