May Pack Mtg: SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

Time: 6:30PM - 7:30PM
Location: Central Elementary Cafeteria
At May's Pack mtg the main focus will be on creating care packages and letters and artwork to send to the troops in Iraq. 1. Please bring a few "Care Package" items to the meeting: travel size toiletries, (lotions, powders, etc.), snack foods (granola bars, nuts, chips, etc.) sunblock, chapsticks, baby wipes, hand sanitizers, batteries (AA & AAA), socks. (suggestions from Sgt. Kelli Martin)
2. It will also be our Spring Roundup (signing up scouts for next year) so we could have some new kids--spread the word if you know of a Kindergartner who might want to join our Pack. (New parents will hear about scouting at a meeting in a separate room).
3. We will have BOAT kits (similar to pinewood derby car kits, but simpler) for sale at this meeting. Buy your boat and decorate it for the RAINGUTTER REGATTA - a "sailing" race to be held at our End-of-the-year Picnic and Overnight at Camp Kiwanis (June 9-10)
4. Cub Scout Summer Camp forms (with checks) will also be collected so we can turn them in to Council for you. But if you want to sign up for camp after this, you can certainly do so on your own. See link below for more info and forms.
