Stearns Cub Camp - our biggest group ever!
Stearns Cub Camp was fun despite the ever-changing weather. We had the largest group ever with 19 Scouts and 14 adults. Between the fog, rain, sunshine, and wind we had many activities and adventures. There was archery, bb guns, paintball guns for Webelos Scouts, crafts, nature study, soccer, and swimming along with campfires, flag ceremonies and lots and lots of walking! We had great meals (thanks, Norma!) and tried hard to make a straight line with such a large group so we could get in line first to eat first!
Scouts learned and made progress in achievements and advancement. They had lots of fun making penny hockey games in the craft program. For adults, it was a great opportunity to get to know each other better and to work together.
Webelos Outpost was a fabulous experience for the nine Webelos Scouts and seven Akelas that made the trek to the far reaches of Stearns Scout Camp's 1,200 acres. Look for an Outpost report in the Den 5 section of the website.
All in all, it was a great camp that will be long remembered. Thanks to all Scouts and Akelas who attended Pack 120's Stearns Cub Camp.
