Winter Camp 2005!
Winter Camp is an annual tradition in Pack 120. After a short Pack meeting and pizza dinner, we head up to Rum River Scout Camp in Saint Francis, just north of Anoka. We have two cabins as our base to enjoy a fun-packed weekend of outdoor fun - cross-country skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing. When the boys are tired and wet, there is a fire in the fireplace and loads of games and indoor activities. And there's plenty of food - hot chocolate when we get there Friday night, eggs and sausage for breakfast on Saturday, sandwiches for lunch, lasagna and all the trimmings for dinner, and bagels, cereal, and doughnuts for Sunday breakfast before we come home. There are plenty of snacks - baby carrots, fruit, pretzels, cider, and milk - in between.
