TC falls for Fall Camp
We had a very successful Fall Camp, with nearly forty Cubs and thirty adults turning up. We had eight scheduled hours of round- robin activities, a dining cabin full of board games, puzzles and great food next to a separate three-room bunk house. Webelos, armed with M&Ms as rewards, were assigned to coach the new scouts in the Bobcat requirements for the big advancement ceremony Saturday night with TC, the costumed Tiger Cub mascot, giving out the Bobcat badges. Every new Scout attending had earned his Bobcat by Saturday night. We had four flag ceremonies, color guards armed with rubber band guns, a Sunday morning service, and a Friday night sing-a-long and Christmas Carol practice, and we still had time to finish the 500-piece Scout Camp jig saw puzzle with three pieces to spare. Thanks to everyone who stepped up and made this such a memorable outing.
