Rain doesn't dampen the enthusiasm for Scouting!
Despite a persistent rain, more than twenty families came to Bethel on Thursday evening, September 21 to learn more about Cub Scouting in Pack 120. Much of the program was led by trained Fall Youth Roundup volunteers Phillip Ochs, Committee Chair of Pack 38 at Saint Helena's Catholic Church, and Jay Perry, Committee Chair of Pack 187 at Mayflower Congregational Church and featured videos produced by the Northern Star Council about Cub Scouting.
While the adults learned more about the important role that adults play in making Scouting work, the boys were at "Camp 120," which featured arrowhead carving, a campfire with s'mores, and a Raingutter Regatta. Many thanks to Recruiting Chair Daniel Amyx for organizing the best "Camp 120" yet - despite the rain!
