Pretty good for "Plan B"
After caroling at Providence Place, the Pack adjourned to Fort Snelling State Park for a weenie roast on Picnic Island followed by a ranger-led nature hike looking for abandoned summer homes of the Park's animals. Following a lunch of hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, and hot cocoa, we headed over to the Savage Visitors Center for the hike. We saw a fox den, coyote scat, numerous bird nests, and hiked for about one mile. It was a beautiful December day - 47 degrees!
