We covered eighty percent of the neighborhood!
Twenty-two Scouts from all five Dens turned out on a warm and sunny Monday evening and covered eighty percent of the Bancroft neighborhood - everything east of 12th Avenue South and south of East 46th Street - nearly 3,000 bags! That's 68 of 86 blocks!
Now we need your help on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. to pick up the food. With this many bags, we'll need all the help that we can get: last year, we collected more than 1,000 pounds of food! And remember, everyone who participates in Scouting for Food will earn a "Good Turn for America" patch for their red vest!
