They made it to the top!
About 25 Scouts went to the REI Co-op in Bloomington and climbed the Pinnacle, REI-s inside rock climbing tower. Under expert instruction, they sampled the Pinnacle's various routes, each of which is a different level of difficulty. In addition, REI staff taught the Scouts about the Leave No Trace outdoor principles that, with the completion of an outdoor service project (the Pack's buckthorn busting event is on Saturday morning, July 28 at Fort Snelling State Park - complete information about this event, which includes a picnic, a fishing clinic, and swimming, is available in the Calendar) and a poster.
