Bears in the air!

Not really. The Bears visited the Sun Country Airlines hangar at MSP Airport. There were two of Sun Country's Boeing 737-800s in the hangar. Sun Country's Doug Carlson showed us the ins-and-outs of it, answering tons of third grade questions. We saw the retractable air stairs retract (this ship is the only SCA 737-800 with retractable air stairs for use at airports without jet bridges, peered into the jet engine, stood in the wheel well where the main landing gear retracts, learned that there's a "bumper" to prevent tail damage if the pilot lands too steeply (it's happened), looked into the "belly" of the plane where our bags are transported (and where a luggage handler at McCarran Field in Las Vegas was trapped for the flight to Minneapolis-Saint Paul!), and toured the inside of the plane, including the cockpit! Many thanks to our polite and well-behaved Scouts and to Sun Country's Doug Carlson for our tour and to Craig Herman for arranging it! Remember, for low fares and great service, including hot sandwiches, cookies, and comfy leather seats even in economy, visit www.suncountry.com. Sun Country Airlines. Go places.
