Tigers ride the trolley!
The new Tiger Cubs of Dens 2 and 6 had their first meeting, completing Achievement 1G in their Tiger Handbooks by riding The Minnesota Streetcar Museum's historic Como-Harriet Streetcar Line at Lake Harriet. After a streetcar ride along the scenic one-mile line aboard Duluth Street Railway streetcar No. 265, the Tigers and their adult partners visited the Museum's George K. Isaacs Carbarn, saw modern Twin City LInes "PCC" streetcar No. 322, and learned the basics of how a streetcar works aboard Twin City Lines streetcar No. 1300, built in 1908. After that, the group adjourned to the nearby Lake Harriet Refectory for ice cream.
