We made it there - and back!
Despite some griping ("I'm cold!" "It's too far!"), twenty Tigers and Webelos Scouts crossed the Stone Arch Bridge. We saw arch, suspension, and truss bridges and a coal-fired and hydroelectric power plant, learned a little bit about how and why Minneapolis was founded, and got a little exercise and fresh air. While the predicted showers never came, it was "cool" and there was a stiff wind. So the gripes about cold were partially justified!
Webelos Scouts will finish up Engineer at upcoming Den meetings and the Scorpion Patrol (Webelos Den 5) will work on Traveler as well.
