Religious Emblems Program
Date: 9/30/07
Religious Emblems Program
To encourage members to grow stronger in their faith, religious groups have developed Religious Emblems Programs. The Boy Scouts of America has approved of these programs and allows the emblems to be worn on the official uniform. The various religious groups administer the programs. Check with your Council Service Center or contact the religious organization directly to obtain the curriculum booklets.
The knot that is awarded upon completion of the Program is one of only a few patches that can be carried forward onto the Boy Scout uniform from the Cub Scout uniform.
Check the Links page on our website for an excellent overview of the Religious Emblems Program provided by the BSA Cornhusker Council. If you need additional information, contact your Den or Pack leaders.
