Cub Scout Summer Camp Program Info!!

2009 CAMPING PROGRAMS
CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP
Day Camp is for all Scouts entering the 1st through 5th grades in the fall of 2009. This great week-long, day program is theme based and is hosted at numerous, convenient locations throughout the Council.
Day Camp Dates
Session #1 @ Camp Yaw Paw: July 6-10
Session #2 @ Camp Yaw Paw: July 13-17
Session #3 @ Camp Yaw Paw July 20-24
Session #4 @ Camp Yaw Paw: July 27-31
Session #5 @ Camp Yaw Paw: August 3-7
PROGRAM NOTE: Additional weeks and locations may be added as needed
Fees:
$305 per week; $275 per week before May 1st
Volunteer Leaders – Special fee of $100.00 per week Cub Fee for accepted day camp volunteers who serve an entire week. Acceptance is not automatic and volunteers must apply to be considered.
CUB SCOUT RESIDENT CAMP
Resident Camp is a great experience for all Scouts entering the 1st through 5th grades in the fall of 2009. This is an overnight program that provides Cub Scouts with experiences they can only get at Cub Resident Camp at Camp Lewis. This unique program has Scouts arriving for Camp on Saturday and departing on Wednesday night.
Camp Lewis Dates
Session #1: July 4-8
Session #2: July 11-15
Session #3: July 18-22
Session #4: July 25-22
Session #5: August 1-6
PROGRAM NOTE: this program is being modified stay tuned for session updates and changes
Fees:
$305 per week; $275 per week before May 1st for packs providing adult leadership.
Leaders Fees = One free leader for every five Cub Scouts (max 2 free). Additional leaders $125 per week
NOTES TO ALL CAMP PROGRAMS
Camperships
A Scout should not miss out on the summer camp experience due to lack of funds. The Northern New Jersey Council provides Campership funds to assist Scouts and their families with a portion of the camp fees. Campership applications are available through the Council Service Centers. For those applying for a campership please register as any Scout but indicate “applying for a Campership” on the application. Please do not send any money with the Campership application. Keep in mind that due to limited funds, Camperships do not cover 100% of the fees, so plan your budget accordingly. Campership requests only cover one week of camp. Campership applications must be received by April 13, 2009.
Payments & Refunds
There are NO DEPOSITS for any camp programs; fees are only accepted, in full, on a first-come basis. Partial fees will be returned and the Scout will not be registered. There is a non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 for each registered program or session. After May 31st, refunds are issued for valid medical reasons only. All refund requests must be made in writing no later than August 31, 2009. No refund requests will be considered after August 31, 2009.
