Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon Inc. - Please Remember to Bring Items to Nov Pack Mtg!

During our November pack meeting, we will be building care packages for the troops serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Rob Evans (from our pack) will be organizing the collection of items from all of our pack families & scouts for the organization known as "Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon, Inc.".
Rob is proud to be a part of this important program, and will be presenting at our pack meeting on November 13th. He will give the scouts an overview of this organization and the special people that Rob meets and helps.
One package we will be building is for a young man who is a resident of Wayne and works at the Boys & Girls Club. He is currently serving in Afghanistan. The other is a Major who is a long time friend of Rob, and who also happens to be a Black Hawk Helicopter pilot who just went to serve his second tour in Iraq.
What we would like you to do is to have each scout bring in at least one or two items to the pack meeting to put in the provided care packages. (Webmaster Note: If you are a member of Costco or BJ’s Wholesale Club, perhaps you might consider purchasing a large package of an item which can be added to several care packages)
The list located on our web site (and noted below) contains items that is a “wish list” that Rob will collect from us, and solicit from any individuals or organizations that would like to help the "Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon Inc. program.
It is a great deal of fun and we are thrilled to be doing this session with the entire Pack.
