Habitat for Humanity--SOMERS FIRST BUILD

For many reasons boys under 16 are not permitted on the construction site. However, there are many ways to contribute off the construction site:
• Help your community; find, research and develop your own Brush with Kindness in your neighborhood.
• Start and head the Youth Build program
• Start and organize the Women Build Program
• Make lunches for our volunteer crews
• Help with our website and webpage
• Tutor partner family children
• Baby-sit partner family children so families can complete their hours
• Become a site host
• Sell T-shirts, promote Habitat and raise funds
• Collect cans and bottles at school, promote recycling and raise funds
• Promote the Green Message
• Help create a Green information booth
• Get food and dollar donations to stock a partner family pantry
• Advocate with your local town and city governments
• Help at our Restore
• Help recruit and organize volunteers
• Inform your neighbors, churches and social groups on how Habitat works
