September Pack Meeting Minutes
Date: 9/22/05
This month's theme was Cub Scout Roundup and scouts, leaders and parents dressed in cowboy garb. Here are the highlights:
1. Mr Poremba welcomed all back and thanked everyone involved in the Fall Tent Campout.
2. He reminded everyone of the pack website www.packsonline.com/oh/3269. He also reminded everyone of the Pack participation in the Haunted Forest at Moore Property on October 7th and 8th. See the website for more info.
3. New Pack members were introduced including five new Tigers in Den 10 and one new Wolf in Den 11. One other boy attended with the interest in joining the Pack. Several other boys have expressed interest in the Pack.
4. Mr. Poremba introduced the 2005-2006 Den Leaders.
5. Awards were given for summer camp and some that were left over from the last Pack meeting in May.
6. Beth Meyer was introduced as the Awards Chairperson. Leaders, please call or email Beth with awards for your den by the week of the parent planning meeting so that your Scouts will get their awards at the next Pack meeting.
7. Leaders are urged to turn in the names of their Scouts that have earned the Summertime Award from this summer's activities to Beth by the October planning meeting. Scouts earn the award by attending three of the four summer Pack activities. Crossover Campout, Memorial Day Parade, Bike Hike or Canoe Trip.
8. Popcorn sales begin tonight. Mr. Lazor is our new Popcorn Kernal. He presented sales info and tips to the scouts. If you did not get your sales form, see your Den Leader.
