Parent Planning Meeting October 6, 2005 Meeting Minutes
Two more new Tiger Cubs to join.
Tom Wintering Boy Scout from Troop 265 is collecting toiletries for battered children as part of his Eagle Scout Project. He will attend our October Pack Meeting to discuss it with the Pack.
At the October Pack Meeting, we will have a visit from a lady from the VOA to discuss the upcoming food drive. Our food drive will be November 12th. Collect the food the week before and bring it the morning of the popcorn pickup to the Moore Property. A downloadable flier will be added to the website. Assigned areas for the food drive by den are:
Den 1 – Wellington/ Reserves of Aurora Den 3 – Deepwoods/ Dun Eden Den 4 - Geauga Lake Den 5 - South Half of Four Seasons Den 6 - Summerhill Den 8 - Chatham Den 9 - Greentree Den 10 - North Half of Four Seasons Den 11 - Country Club Den 12 - Lakes of Aurora Den 13 - Highlands
Popcorn money and orders are due at the October 20th Pack Meeting. No money and forms, no popcorn. You can write a personal check for the total amount to Pack 3269 and collect the money for reimbursement if you wish. But payment is due at the time of order this year.
Haunted Farm: This Friday and Saturday with setup before the event. An appreciation dinner will be held Sunday 2-4pm, 570 Chillicothe for all Haunted Farm Volunteers. Leaders get a head count for the dinner and send it to Beth Meyer ASAP.
Beth Meyer will continue to be Awards Coordinator. Email your awards or bring your list to the Parent Planning Meeting to assure awards are given at the next Pack Meeting.
New Leader training and position specific training will be held on October 22nd. All new leader and leaders that are advancing must attend training. See the website for further information. The Pack will pay the necessary fees.
Baloo Training is offered at Manatoc October 29th. See the website for further information if you are interested. The Pack will pay all fees.
Manatoc forms and money are due at the October 20th Pack Meeting. The form is downloadable from the website. We need a new food chairman to take over for Andy Barnoski in February. This campout will be a good opportunity to have a person step up to lead the breakfast. We will need lots of firewood this year. Plan on having each scout bring five pieces of firewood.
Webelos 2 den members can visit Boy Scout Troop 265 meetings if they would like. See Beth Meyer for more information.
